If Stranger Things was an Eighties sitcom

stranger-things.jpg

In this week's episode: Will the boys get their geography project ready on time, or will Dustin's hunger land them in hot water? Who will Nancy take to the prom? And can Chief Hopper solve the mystery of the disappearing chocolate puddings? It's time for Stranger Things!

It turns out it doesn't take too much tweaking to shift the tones of Netflix's hit sci-fi thriller, as proven by this superb mashup by YouTuber Tim Bennett.

Switch the haunting electro pluses for the gentle musings of Randy Newman, focus in on the smiles and you're one treasure chest away from a Goonies lawsuit.
