Oscar posters in Lego

Lego has been making an almighty comeback of late. What with the Lego Mad Men and the Lego Oscar scenes, the plastic blocks are deservedly back in the spotlight.

With the Oscars still on our minds, here are the ten Best Picture nominees and winners, given the Lego treatment.

Now all we need are the full-length plastic remakes for each title. We can't wait to see Lego boxing in The Fighter or Lego rock climbing in 127 Hours. We fear that it might be a long wait though.

The posters were created by Old Red Jalopy and commissioned by NextMovie.com.

Marc Chacksfield
Content Director

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
