This is how much Batman has changed over the years

Tracking the evolution of Batman is a lot like looking through your tagged photos on Facebook, in the sense that you'll be too busy cringing at the outfits to truly remember what a great time everyone was having.

Because the Batman of old is a very different animal to the moody, gravel-toned hero we know today. And among all of the scowls, silly voices and doom-laden Hans Zimmer scores, we kind of miss the hilarious, lycra-clad bastard.
