EXCLUSIVE: West and Elba reunite for Finding Nemo 2

Now, while we've all been hoping for some sort of Wire reunion, we definitely weren't expecting it to happen like this.

In this week's magazine, we spoke to Dominic West, that's McNulty to you Baltimore types, who revealed that he will be starring with Idris Elba on-screen again but this time, their target audience will be slightly different.

The two are both lending their voices to the highly anticipated sequel to Finding Nemo, called Finding Dory.

"I saw Idris recently," West told us exclusively. "We’re both in the sequel to Finding Nemo, so we were recording that. I’m in pretty regular contact with a lot of guys from The Wire – a lot of them are godparents to my kids, so I love them dearly."

And there you have it, two of TV's most iconic characters will next be seen in the sea. We'd make a fish pun but we know you're already reeled in. Damn it, sorry.

The upcoming sequel will also feature the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton and Willem Dafoe.
