Sixty years after it was shot there, a brand new restoration of Leslie Norman’s classic wartime epic Dunkirk (1958) will premiere on the beaches of Camber Sands this September (20-21) in association with The Luna Cinema as part of a 1940’s wartime themed evening, with entertainment organised by Wayne Hemingway’s The Vintage Festival, and as part of the BFI’s BRITAIN ON FILM: Coast and Sea project.
To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with STUDIOCANAL to give away two tickets to the Wednesday night event (20 September), a room for that night at The George in Rye, a Vintage Victory Rollers hair and makeup makeover, 10 essential blu-rays from the Vintage Classics range, including Dunkirk, out on DVD/Blu-ray 25 September .
Located in the centre of Rye, East Sussex, The George Hotel was renovated to create one of the most stunning hideaways on the south coast.
Vintage Victory Rollers specialise in recreating beauty from the 1920's - 1950's and have a salon in Swindon, as well as attending many Vintage events with their pop-up.
Book tickets here to see Dunkirk (1958) this September.
