Much like a shuttle returning to the mother-ship after 13 years, the X-Files is finally making its way back to our TV screens.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as Special FBI Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder for a six-episode series, airing at the beginning of 2016. What’s more, the show’s creator Chris Carter is at the helm, much to fans' delight.
Judging by the above teaser, we can expect flashing lights, bodies (possibly human, perhaps alien) being dragged about, serious FBI work and, er, a poster.
Really, we don’t know much, but the truth is out there. We just have to tune in.
X-Files is set to air two premiere episodes on FOX on Sunday 24 January and Monday 25th January. The remaining episodes will be weekly. A UK date is yet to be confirmed.
