As you can see, these properties all have exceptional potential - unique architecture, uncompromising access to the city, superb fictional references.
These amazing prints are the latest addition to Tim Doyle's continuing project Unreal Estate - moody reworkings of famous locations from film and TV.
"These places are in our memories- transmitted and entrenched there through a cathode-ray tube," explains the artist. "Some of us have been going to these places for decades- some of these places were taken from us, way too soon." This was the third year his estate-themed work was shown at the SpokeArt gallery in San Francisco.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
