If you live in London it can sometimes be quite difficult to see past the traffic, the noise, the weather, Oxford Street and still appreciate its good points.

But when someone from another country comes to visit they notice things we've all long since forgotten about. 

A recent Quora thread with the (very un-British) title "What are some unique things that tourists notice when they travel to London?” gives us grumpy lot an insight into how people from other countries see our capital.

It’s almost enough to make you appreciate the Big Smoke.
