Who? James Blake feat. Bon Iver
What’s the story? The unexpected release of James Blake's third album, The Colour In Anything, on Friday was sadly rather overshadowed by the equally unexpected release of Radiohead's new opus, A Moon Shaped Pool. Don't you just hate it when musical legends come along and steal your thunder? But, nonetheless, it's another great collection of songs, with this collaboration with Bon Iver, I Need A Forest Fire, amongst its highlights. The track is given a new push with the release of this mesmerising new video and, unsurprisingly, their voices work together beautifully, creating a beautiful three and a half minutes of minimal electronica. We're sure the residents of Alberta in Canada won't agree with the title right now, but for the rest of us: enjoy.
For fans of: Jamie Woon, Kwabs
In three words: Gorgeous minimal electronica
