The Ford Mustang Logo Gets Global Makeover

There’s horsepower and then there’s Mustang power...

Indeed, it’s hard to think of US musclebound automotive engineering without also thinking of that metal steed long buckled to the front of Ford’s fearsome sub-brand, and now that same iconic logo has been given a global makeover.

To mark the fact that the 2015 US model is going global with a release in 120 countries, Ford have partnered with acclaimed US pop artist Burton Morris - perhaps best known for designing the famous Central Perk coffee cup for TV’s Friends - to put a worldwide take on the charging steed.

Morris has hand painted and sculpted a series of 10 unique Mustang pony emblems, emblazoning each one with the respective flag of that land with all the energy and artistic verve you’d associate with his CV to date.

The collection, Mustang Unites, also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang. And it's not a bad birthday present, is it?
