The cost of living can regularly make for grim reading if you reside in the UK.
Petrol prices are skyrocketing. The property ladder is in danger of reaching orbit. And Freddos now cost a whopping 25p. Scandalous, we know.
But it’s nothing on Switzerland, the land of luxury chocolate and finely tuned clocks, which has taken the number one spot on this list of the countries with the highest cost of living. And then there's Iceland: at direct odds with the titular low cost supermarket it places at number four. In fact, the UK and Ireland only feature 10th and 11th, with even Venezuela being a costlier place for residents.
And if anyone messes with the cost of a Chomp, we might even consider emigrating.
