In the frenzied world of GTA V online, danger lurks around every pixelated corner. There simply aren’t enough places to hide in Los Santos.
One minute you’re weaving between traffic as you gun it down the highway in an affordably priced Sedan; the next you’re evading the jet canon of a fighter jet as a random gamer decides to pick on you from the skies.
Most gamers wouldn’t stand a chance from this airborne menace. But then most gamers aren’t YouTube user Samingniz, who evaded it with aplomb recently, before posting his incredible footage up on the channel for all to see.
We pick up with him putting his foot down on a cramped highway, quickly switching between front and rear views to spot the bogey thundering in from above. As he looks back again, this small dark blob suddenly becomes much clearer as he continues to drive at breakneck speeds. Then he bears left and crashes into a hill.
Game over? Not on your extra life. Using the incline, he manages to flip the car right over a car in front (not a Toyota) and performs a quadruple barrel roll – yes, four of the ruddy things – as the missiles whisk yards past him striking the other vehicle. How we would have loved to see the reaction of the gamer in the cockpit.
Genuinely, even the Mission Impossible franchise would have been proud of this effort.
