The Beatles hit iTunes

And ShortList picks its ultimate playlist

The Beatles hit iTunes

Apple and music group EMI have agreed to sell The Beatles' back catalogue on iTunes, for the first time ever.

Individual tracks are available for 99p and music fans can also buy and download entire albums, complete with sleeve notes, album artwork and videos. Oddly the icons have only ever graced iTunes on solo projects, up to today.

There is concern about some of the prices of the albums, however, with The White Album set to cost a whopping £17.99.

Here at ShortList after a lengthy debate, and two spilt mugs of tea, we've devised our ultimate 10 track playlist:

1. Tomorrow Never Knows

2. Helter Skelter

3. A Day In The Life

4. Here Comes The Sun

5. Help

6. Ticket To Ride

7. Eleanor Rigby

8. Paperback Writer

9. Hey Bulldog

10. Come Together
