The £600 Lunch Bag

Should you be the sort of person who thinks nothing of frittering £600 on a lunch bag, you’re probably the sort of person who uses a lunch bag.

Besides, you’d have no choice but use one when spending that kind of cash, which is precisely how much you’d have to hand over to take home this, a collaboration between US artist Sterling Ruby and Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons in the name of sandwich transportation.

You won’t find any rubies on this metallic tote in blue, mind – it’s been crafted in Italy solely from a nylon/alfa/polyurethane blend (you know the one), giving it that unwrinkled effect you’ve seen on a thousand weathered supermarket loyalty bags.

Why anyone would spend such an extraordinary price for an ordinary item is anyone’s guess. But, one thing is for sure, they’d better be packing more than a bag of Doritos and a ham baguette.
