Oh look, it's that nightmare you once had, in a film.

This bone-chilling new trailer for sci-fi epic Gravity shows what happens when two astronauts, played by Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, find themselves lost in space.

A freak accident leaves them tethered to just each other as they plunge into the sky. Scared much?

It comes from Alfonso Cuarón, best known for Children of Men and early word suggests that it's going to be quite the spectacle.

Gravity hits cinemas October 18
