Far Cry has always done chaos very well. No matter how remote the exotic vista the series visits, it always manages to pack a trademark level of beauty-ruining fire power, introducing players to sumptuous wild life before merrily setting fire to it. And the fourth instalment is no different.
Set in the heights of Kyrat, a fictional expanse of mountainous slopes and gorgeous scenery in the Himalayas, Far Cry 4 sees players attempt to plot a path through a savage civil war, as a local population struggles to overthrow the regime of self-appointed king Pagan Min. But, as is always the case in the world of Far Cry, allegiances are brittle and friendships hard to come by.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
