Simon Pegg is now more used to rubbing merino wooled shoulders with the likes of Tom Cruise and Chris Pine than he is to sitting on the sofa eating a Cornetto. But, despite being part of two major Hollywood franchises, he still seems to have time for the odd little British film.
His latest small budget outing is the (poorly titled) Man Up. But by the look of the trailer it promises to be a romantic comedy with less of the usual schmaltz and more of that dry Pegg humour the world now seems to love.
It’s just a shame Nick Frost doesn’t appear to be in it.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
