Lara Croft has a new significant other. Having made her début on the PlayStation, PC and Sega Saturn, flirting with pretty much every platform released since 1996, she's decided to settle down and become a single console girl. Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an Xbox exclusive, and the reveal trailer looks stunning.
Following in the same gritty vain of Square Enix's hugely successful 2013 reboot, Rise sees the maturing Lara delve into an ancient, secret world she has discovered - the Lost City. Threatened by a shadowy organisation intent on killing her for what she has discovered, Lara must develop her survival skills and accept her path to becoming the Tomb Raider. Which seems to involve lots of jumping off cliffs. Poor thing.
Pencilled to arrive in Christmas 2015 (fingers crossed) for Xbox One and Xbox 360, we're off to practice our wall scrambling and archery skills in the park.
