It might have been name-checked in Underworld's classic Born Slippy, but did you know that Romford in Essex was at the centre of the UK's hardcore scene back in 1992?

Well you can now get the full story with this incredible five minute clip of the movers and shakers in the scene, including a fresh-faced Prodigy - complete with long-haired Keith Flint and an impossibly youthful Liam Howlett, which has been unearthed by Decoded Magazine.

The mini-documentary features the owner of Romford's Suburban Base Records, Danny Donnelly, who owned the Boogie Times Record Shop before starting his own independent label. It released the likes of Smart E's famous rave hit Sesame's Treet, which reached number 2 in 1992 - at that point the highest-ever charting single from an indie label.

Watch below (you'll have to click the link to go via Facebook) and wallow in nostalgia for a more innocent time...other than the copious amounts of ecstasy of course.
