It seems that not a day goes by without another nugget of news from the production office of Under the Dome, the new CBS drama based on Stephen King's terrifying novel.
After last week revealed that Mike Vogel has snagged the lead, we now have confirmation of his female co-star. Rachelle Lefevre will be taking on the role of Julia, an investigative reporter who has just moved to the town of Chester Mills. Those who've read the book will realise that the townsfolk find themselves mysteriously cut off from the rest of the world.
Lefevre is probably best known for her role in Twilight as the villainous Victoria. She was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for Eclipse. She'll next be seen in White House Down, the Channing Tatum saves the President thriller, and Homefront, where Jason Statham takes on James Franco.
The show will also star Dean Norris, best known for playing Hank in Breaking Bad.
Under the Dome will be hitting CBS on June 24th and a UK date is yet to be announced
