Either Ryanair isn't cheap enough or Bodos Schloss isn’t an accurate representation of the continent (who knew?) in London, but Oktoberfest will be making its way to Tobacco Dock this autumn.
Oompah bands, dirndl dresses and lederhosen in tow, the festival is expecting to serve 100,000 litres of Bavarian beer and 50,000 traditional sausages.
Restaurant chain Herman Ze German will be supplying sausages and sauerkraut galore, while schnitzel and spatzel (try saying all that out loud) will also be gracing plates.
Along with your fairground usuals, there will also be German-themed games, including a penalty taking contest.
Plus, given that the German counterpart has been moved to September, the Wapping festivities are technically the only Oktoberfest celebration in Europe to actually be happening in October.
Need we say more?
