TV's most dysfunctional couple are going to return next year - and it will definitely be the final goodbye.
Radio Timeshave confirmed that Series 9 of the much-loved sitcom Peep Show will be written in spring next year, filmed in the summer and then aired in autumn 2015. The usual suspects are all on board, including writing team Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong and David Mitchell and Robert Webb, who play the hapless duo Mark and Jez.
It will be the final series, although it's not believed that either character will be killed off. However, Robert Webb has previously said that it will not end nicely; he told the Mirror earlier this year: "No. They will be in horrible pain as usual. They will not win the lottery, they will not have a happy ending."
Series 8 ended with Mark & Jez fighting over Dobby, who made her exit to New York. What trials and tribulations will be in store for the final series? We'll find out in a year's time.
