Altogether now: Goldfinger (trumpet riff), he's the man, the man with the Midas touch. And now, to celebrate his golden anniversary (that's the 50th), he's also the man with a brand new OMEGA Seamaster. You'll never guess what colour it comes in.
Since 1995's GoldenEye the Seamaster has been Bond's watch of choice. This one-of-a-kind Seamaster "Aqua Terra", created for a Christie's charity auction for the NSPCC, packs more 18k yellow gold than we thought was conceivable possible into a 38.5mm casement.
From the face to the dial, to the hands, rotor and oscillating weight, every inch of this timepiece has been reworked to Auric's standards. It even comes in a presentation box designed to resemble the US Bullion Depository building at Fort Knox.
One generous individual smashed the estimated value of £8,000 - £12,000, placing a final bid in the region of £69,000. Here's hoping they own their own lair and appropriately menacing laugh to complete the look.
