Summer appears to be starting a little but early this year. Sadly this isn't based on any inside weather knowledge but rather a quick glance at the upcoming movie schedule.
With GI Joe 2, Iron Man 3 and Oz The Great And Powerful all opening before May, we're looking at a long season in the cinema. Which is no bad thing. Especially since they'll be joined by Tom Cruise's latest, Oblivion.
We've got our second look at the sci-fi epic and the word epic appears to be pretty appropriate. Combining some heart-racing action with a set of eye-pleasing visuals (not a surprise given director Joseph Kosinski's last film Tron: Legacy), this looks like it'll be a strong contender for one of the summer's most intriguing big-budget offerings. Plus it gets extra points for not being a sequel.
Oblivion hits cinemas on April 12th
