NikeLab and Stone Island's new Windrunner collaboration looks top-notch

Stone Island are one of the biggest names in luxe-sportswear and Nike are…well, Nike are Nike. So it should come as no great surprise that when the two join forces the results are nothing short of spectacular. The pair’s second collection has just dropped but you’ll need to act fast if you want to get your hands on a piece of the action.

Like the duo’s previous collection, this 2016 joint effort sees the two sportswear labels reimagineing Nike’s iconic Windrunner jacket, which first made an appearance back in 1979. Since its debut all that time ago the Windrunner has remained a staple item on sports tracks and fields around the world.

This collaboration brings together Nike’s trademark practicality and functionality, fusing those qualities with Stone Island’s innovative use of fabrics and ground-breaking dyeing techniques. The result is this beautiful jacket in six bold colours, which can be packed into its own inside pocket and carried as a shoulder bag when not being worn.
