We've reached the stage in life where we no longer enjoy roller-coasters. Truth be known we only go on them to avoid mocking from our peers, and we're confident they're doing it for exactly the same reason. Can't we all just agree to not go on them?
Good job that Abu Dhabi is 6,500 miles away, because it's unlikely we'll ever have to man-up and jump aboard the new world's fastest roller-coaster.
At 150 miles per hour, Formula Rossa looks repulsive. Built above Abu Dhabi's F1 circuit, the ride aims to accurately recreate the sensation of driving a Formula one car, with drops and turns that generate 1.7 G's.
Apparently it uses the same technology that propels fighter planes from warships and hits 60mph in two seconds. It takes less than 90 seconds to travel its full length of 2.07 kilometres. Horrible.
The ride can be found at Ferrari World, and is open to celebrate the Abu Dhabi grand prix on November 12. Check it out below...
