Twin Peaks fans will be rushing out to buy lottery tickets after this piece of news.
As if the announcement of a brand new nine-part TV series in 2016, marking the show's 25th anniversary, it's now been announced that Mark Frost, co-creator of the series alongside David Lynch, is writing a novel about the Washington town. It promises to lift the lids on the movements of the characters since they were left, all that time ago.
The book is set to be titled The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks, and will be published before the new series airs; Frost has described the publication as a "dream project".
The new series will be set in the present day, with storylines carried over from where they were left back in 1991. If you haven't seen it already, check out the announcement teaser clip below.
