New trailer for Pompeii lands

After a brief spurt in the late 90s, disaster movies have been depressingly absent from our screens, save the work of Roland Emmerich.

But Alien Vs Predator director Paul WS Anderson is keen to bring the subgenre back with his ambitious take on the infamous Pompeii tragedy.

A new trailer has just dropped for the film, starring Kit Harrington of Game of Thrones, and it's just as explosive and lava-filled as we hoped it would be.

Because who doesn't want to see a volcano erupt in 3D? No one, that's who.
