One year on from launching a massive chicken burger as its Christmas special, the restaurant chain has decided to mix things up for the festive season.
While most of the Christmas menus you see will include a staple like turkey, cranberries or cheese to mark the occasion, there’s one component of a traditional Christmas dinner which is often overlooked.
That ingredient is gravy – the star of the new Nando’s Christmas menu. However, they’ve put their own little twist on it.

Nando’s fans have long been clamouring for gravy to be added to the menu, so much so that we’ve seen accounts of folks buying gravy elsewhere to jazz up their chicken and chips.

Now it’s time to decide whether to drizzle it over your chips, pour it over your extra hot half-chicken, or go full French dip (Portuguese dip?) and get a jar to dunk your burger in.
Do the chips thing first, though, and when we say ‘drizzle’ we mean ‘drown’ - we had the opportunity to check it out ahead of release and that is 100% the way to go about it.
The gravy will be available from 4-31 December across the UK, costing £1.25 per portion, so you can add it to your order regardless of what else is coming your way.
And if you’re the sort of person who likes to take advantage of a secret menu, guess what – you can add Peri Peri chicken gravy to that too.
