The Nazis are back. Or rather, in the world of Wolfenstein: The New Order, they never went away.
The classic action-adventure shooter returns, thrusting gamers into a 1960s setting in which the allied forces were unsuccessful in stopping Nazi Germany from taking over the world. Apparently, they've spent the majority of their time ruining iconic photo moments from The Beatles's Abbey Road (no, really) to the moon landing.
You play B.J. Blazkowicz, taking on the might and mechs of the Nazis with all sorts of fancy bang sticks. Check out the game's latest E3 trailer for a taste of the action.
Due for release in late 2013, Wolfenstein: The New Order will be availiable for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next generation consoles.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
