With the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance taking place in California later this month (no, we had no idea either) McLaren has just unveiled two of their roadsters debuting at the expo.
The P1 & 650S Spider Special Operations Editions feature a host of bespoke attributes, including gloss carbon fibre, subtle orange accents, inconel exhausts and an impressive 24 carat gold heat shield located around the engine bay.
Commissioned by a North American customer, the former is decked out with a "Sterling Grey" metallic paint job, also coming complete with a satin nickel stealth pack. The 650s Spider comes in a slightly garish "Cerulean Blue" metallic finish, and was commissioned by McLaren's Newport Beach dealership.
We wouldn't be surprised if either of these turned up in Fast & Furious 7. Or Mission Impossible 5 for that matter.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
