Whether it was during an awkward stage of puberty, facing the wrath of a kid intent on lashing out or grappling with a workplace thug, many of us will have experienced a moment of bullying. If only we'd had the justice of Captain America or the force of Hulk on our side to help us out.
While Marvel Entertainment can't loan us all our very own superhero, they're still doing their utmost to bring attention to an all too familiar social ill. In a touching sponsored_longform with STOMP Out Bullying, Marvel has created a series of variant covers for its comics for the US National Bullying Prevention Month, set to take place in October.
Captain America, The Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers and several other characters will take part in this fitting sponsored_longform - given the 'outsider' status many of Marvel's heroes have to battle with.
Set to go on sale in October, you can check out the covers revealed so far below.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
