Jesus, stand aside: a new company is launching the 'Miracle Machine': a contraption which promises to turn water into wine.
It appears to be a grown-up sodastream affair, with yeast, grape concentrate and finishing powder packets added to the water to create your very own vino. You plonk (a-ha) all those ingredients in, use a bluetooth-connected smartphone app to select what type of wine you're after, and three days later, out will come your ready-to-drink creation.
There are six wine types available: Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Chardonnay, Oregon Pinot Noir, a Tuscan blend, Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc and a delicate red and a steely white from Burgundy, with 5-10 more flavours expected to be added. Each brew will cost around $2 (£1.20) for ingredients, to create a bottle of wine worth $20 (£12)
The machine is being funded by a Kickstarter, which is due to start soon - just visit their website to sign up for updates, and in the meantime watch the video below for more information.
