Hurray for this headline. Kevin Bacon, Hollywood actor and star of those EE ads that are always on, had his dogs DNA tested.
Bacon told People that he had to know what breed his dog were so he ordered a DNA testing kit online.
"We did DNA testing, which is fun and something that just became possible," he said. "What you do is swab the cheek of a mutt and you send it in. What comes back is what breeds are in the animal, which is really cool."
The results? One dog, Lilly, is a mix of Labrador, American bulldog and Boston terrier, while the other, Rocky, is a purebred Staffordshire terrier.
He enjoyed the testing so much that he bought a kit for his sister: "She wrote me back this email that listed probably six or seven breeds in her dog. Her dog's name is William and she said, 'I'm so disappointed to find out about William's sl*tty past!"
