Okay, okay, we admit it. We're not a magazine for ski jumping obsessives. But we simply had to cover the end of the farcical sport's World Cup, purely to bring you these amazing images.
Competitors taking part in the large hill category (theythumb our noses at small hill) were treated to a spectacular view of Sapporo, Japan after launching themsleves into the air at breakneck speeds. assuming they managed to keep their eyes open.
For those that know their Eddie The Eagle from their Jens Weißflog, Austria's Andreas Kofler secured his third win of the season with monster leaps topping 130m. Still that doesn't come close to the distances covered in Ski Flying. Check that out below...
