Italians* do The Italian Job

Last month, in a celebration of all things road movie, three brave ShortList staffers took a London 2012 edition Mini each and promptly drove them from London to Turin in a stunning recreation of The Italian Job.

Not just satisfied with driving the cars to the most famous locations from the film, we also managed to persuade a whole host of locals to utter Michael Caine’s most famous line – “you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off”.

And now, for the first time ever, ShortList presents a world exclusive of this footage which proves that it’s a damn good job Caine played the role of Charlie Croker instead of any of this lot.
