Is This The Greatest Doughnut Ever?

We've had bad doughnuts, good doughnuts, even great doughnuts. But we're not sure we've ever wanted a doughnut more than this doughnut.

Kim Laidlaw, of food blog CHOW created this utter beast while testing doughnut recipes (that's a job we'd like to have), wrapping an apple fritter in a custard-filled doughnut, glazed with chocolate and with bonus sprinkles.

We dread to think of the calorie count on it, but if it means an instant heart attack, then at least we'd be going out the way we always wanted.
