And so, swooping in from the app store with a multi-filtered cape, Instagram has arrived as the hero of the hour with a new feature to get more out of your mobile shots.
'Zoom' is exactly what it sounds like: you can now pinch to zoom in and out of pictures and videos, like so...
iOS users can update their Instagram app today to get the new feature, while Android users will have to wait a few weeks.
