If anyone you fancy ever sends you a message along the lines of “I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti” then odds are they’re probably not that interested.

But receiving quotes from Hannibal Lecter didn’t seems to dim the attention of one determined admirer of Imgur user Lucy2shoes.

Lucy said that to get a guy at a bar to leave her alone she pretended to give him her number but actually gave him her brother's.

Her brother, the scallywag, then responded to every message the guy sent to with a quote from that old smoothie Hannibal Lecter.

But this didn’t deter Lucy’s admirer one bit(e).
