Winter is coming. For several reasons, foremost of which is that it's now December. Some cold spells are also forecast courtesy of Telltale Games and the release of the first episode of their new Game of Thrones adventure.
The first instalment of six part series, the new story tells of House Forrester, a noble family from the north of Westeros loyal to the Starks of Winterfell. Taking on the role of different members of the Forrester household, you'll be able to determine their fate through the choices you make, changing the story through your decision making and frantic clicking.
We've a feeling things are going to turn out badly whatever you decide; based on HBO's adaptation of George R. R. Martin's series - with an impressive number of the TV cast taking up their roles for the game - we can't think Telltale are going to provide many 'happy endings'. Your death could be quick, at least?
Episode one, Iron from Ice, will arrive on December 2 for PC and PlaytStation 4, on 3 December for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and on 4 December for iOS. And then on 9 December it crawls onto PlayStation 3. Essentially, winter is coming in stages.
