Frankie Boyle's unsurprisingly controversial, but very much excellent comic strip has been launched for iPhone and iPad.
Boyle's character Rex Royd was written for Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar and Titan Magazines' CLiNT and centres around the title character, a Lex Luthor-style super-scientist.
"I first got into comics properly when I was about 21, digging down through stacks in my friends' bedrooms," Boyle said.
"I'd read maybe half a dozen different issues of Justice Society of America before I worked out who everybody was, but it never really got in the way of the fun.
"That's the idea with Rex, it's only 11 pages a month, so not everything makes sense over a couple of issues, but hopefully there's enough ultraviolence and naked travesty to keep people interested till the full story takes shape."
