You'd have thought the events of 2011's Horrible Bosses would have seen Nick, Dale and Kurt lie low for a while. Take a holiday maybe, or perhaps head on a hilariously-predictable adventure through the streets and casinos of Las Vegas.
Mercifully, the events of Horrible Bosses 2 appear a shade more inventive than such worn-down comedy sequel vehicles.
Frustrated by their collective experiences of working for 'the man', the trio set out to establish their own business. Things don't go according to plan (who'd have thought it), when their main investor pulls a fast one and leaves Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) with no cash and no hope. Their natural reaction? To attempt to kidnap their investor's son and ransom him to regain control of their company. Obviously.
Familiar faces including Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey return in this first trailer for Horrible Bosses 2, set to arrive in cinemas on 28 November.
