Forget everything you thought you knew about Daredevil. Or rather, everything you remember about Ben Affleck's Daredevil.
Marvel has put that latex mess behind them, relaunching the blind crime fighter in his own dark, gritty TV show - the first trailer for which just backflipped its way onto the internet.
Made in collaboration with Netflix, Marvel's new Daredevil series sees Charlie Cox (Broadwalk Empire, Stardust) star as the visually impaired Matt Murdock. The first season is set to centre on the battle between Murdock's ninja-skilled Daredevil taking on the crime empire of the mysterious Kingpin, with Murdock's quest for justice and Catholic upbringing adding some layers of complex morality.
Expect urban battles, slick martial arts and more than a few training montages. Check out the first full trailer below.
Daredevil arrives on Netflix on 10 April

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
