Ahead of the actor's appearance in the second episode of the second season, here's your first clip of Tom Hardy BBC Two’s ultra-impressive Peaky Blinders.
The Hollywood actor cameos as capricious London gang boss Alfie Solomons, based in Camden Town at end of the Grand Union canal which, poignantly, leads from Birmingham to London, putting him into automatic contention with Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby, leader of the titular gang looking to make moves in the Capital.
As you’d expect with the two heavyweight actors, who last appeared together in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy-topping The Dark Knight Rises, it’s serious, serious stuff as Murphy and Hardy's characters attempt to suss one another out.
And that beard just gets more and more impressive.
Peaky Blinders continues Thursdays, 9pm, BBC2 and catch-up on the first episide with iPlayer
