Hold on to your butts.
Twenty two years after Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Michael Crichton's dino novel thrilled cinema goers, Jurassic Park is finally getting the video game it always deserved.
Now, don't let the "Lego" bit put you off. If the notion of a brick-based video game fills you with visions of childish whimsy and lacklustre gameplay, we urge you to get your hands on one of Traveller's Tales' award-winning Lego titles. From Lego Star Wars to Lego Indiana Jones, these guys know how to make a proper blockbuster. Pun intended.
Lego Jurassic World will take in each of the Jurassic films, (that's Spielberg's original, The Lost World and the forgettable Jurassic Park III) as well as the upcoming Jurassic World. Littered with in-jokes and superb use of the original scripts, this is promises to be almost as much fun as you can have with a real Lego set. Almost.
Lego Jurassic World arrives on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vista, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC in June
