It's not a bad start to life when Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr both declare you the best new band in Britain, and then Heavenly Recordings - home to Doves, Beth Orton, Saint Etienne and many more - signs you up.
But that's what happened to Kettering-based band Temples, who have gained huge acclaim for their distinctive brand of psychadelic rock. Their much anticipated debut Sun Structures is released on February 10th and is preceded by the - appropriately - mesmerising single Mesmerise, which was released this week.
We're delighted to exclusively host the fantastic video for the track and it's the perfect accompaniment to the music, taking in elements of animation and surrealism: think Salvador Dali meets Terry Gilliam.
But never mind our description - scroll on, and have a look and a listen for yourselves.
Mesmerise is out now digitally, buy and preorder the limited 7" here. Sun Structures is released February 10th. Temples tour the UK in February and March; see their website for more details
