The 14-legged, 7-piece collective known as Fat Freddy's Drop have been wowing audiences for nearly 15 years, picking up a legion of fans taken in by their deft fusing of a host of different genres and sounds.
Their latest record, entitled Blackbird, continues that great work and we're delighted to be able to premiere the latest video taken from it, created for the album's title track.
This visual treat sees blackbirds in the garden take flight in a kaleidoscopic, dream-like journey; requiring director Jon Baxter to create a 3D model along with the deployment of a host of other technical tricks.
Check out the video below and be sure to catch the band on tour; they headline Soundwave Festival in Croatia and Secret Garden Party in the UK in July, before returning in October to play a headline show at London's Alexandra Palace.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
