There's nothing on TV. The weather outside is the meteorological equivalent of cold porridge. None of your mates have got any exciting plans to get you out of the house. Which is just as well, because after watching the launch trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, all you'll be wanting to do for the next month is sit around in baggy clothing slaying wizards.
The third instalment in the hugely successful role-playing series, Inquisition gives players the chance to save the vast (and boy do we mean vast) world of Thedas from an apocalyptic civil war. You take the role of the Inquisitor, leading the forces of the Inquisition (not Spanish) against an array of templars, mages, dragons and all manner of sword-wielding brutes.
If you enjoy soaking hours of your life into fantasy quests, you've just found your latest waste of time.
Dragon Age: Inquisition arrives on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Windows on 18 November
