The worlds of catering and cartography have collided with mouth-watering results.
Food Maps is the salivating series by Caitlin Levin and Henry Hargreaves, artists happy to flout etiquette and play with their food.
"These maps show how food has travelled the globe - transforming and becoming a part of the cultural identity of that place", explains Hargreaves. "Who doesn't know the saying 'throw some shrimp on the barbie' and not think of Australia? Who goes to France without eating bread and cheese? And who makes a Brazilian caipirinha without a fistful of limes?"
The topography of China, USA, Italy and India have all been painstakingly recreated with the nations' most famous foodstuffs.
Head to Levin and Hargreaves' site to check out more of their amazing work, and be sure to watch this 'making of' video.
