It's not been a great month for former CIA director David Petraeus, given that up until last week, there was no former attached to his job title. An affair with his biographer led to an embarrassing resignation but it looks like things are, sort of, on the up for him.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Petraeus pops up as the new Secretary of Defence in the year 2025. Awkward.
Pre-controversy, the former general would have seemed like a shoo-in for the role by the game's makers but now, it's unlikely at best. Interestingly he's also serving a female president and travelling on an aircraft called the USS Barack Obama.
According to Kotaku, a Call of Duty rep has confirmed that Petraeus "was not involved in making the game" just in case you were wondering.
